What is 4 Pillar Trading?

What is 4 Pillar Trading?

4 Pillar Trading is a mentor-led trading education membership built around four connected areas of professional trading: macro analysis, fundamentals, options and strategies, and portfolio and risk management. Members receive regular live educational sessions, access to recordings, and participation in a members-only trading community. It launched on 12 August 2026.

Is 4 Pillar Trading legitimate?

Is 4 Pillar Trading legitimate?

It is a real, publicly launched education programme with named mentors, a published curriculum, transparent pricing and one-click Stripe cancellation. It states that its content is educational only and offers no guarantee of results. What we cannot yet point to is a long track record of member outcomes, because the programme is new. Treat it as a young but openly operated education product rather than an established one.

Who are the mentors?

Who are the mentors?

The published mentor line-up is Ed Shek, Anthony Iser, Jason McDonald, Raj Malhotra and Anil Tewari. Their stated backgrounds include roles at JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, UBS, Bank of America, Commerzbank, Tantallon Capital and Redwheel. We report these as their stated backgrounds and link to the source, rather than presenting them as independently verified.

Which mentor teaches which pillar?

Which mentor teaches which pillar?

All five mentors teach across all four pillars. Nobody is assigned to a single pillar, so you are not choosing between them and you cannot lose access to a subject by joining at a particular point.

Where can I see the full subject list?

Where can I see the full subject list?

Every subject area is set out on the what members learn page, with a plain-English description, why it matters, its difficulty level and a practical application. That page also marks which subjects 4 Pillar Trading names in its own published scope and which are our reading of what the discipline requires.

Is 4 Pillar Trading suitable for beginners?

Is 4 Pillar Trading suitable for beginners?

Partly. The four-pillar structure is a reasonable place to start because it teaches process rather than setups. But options pricing, financial statement interpretation and portfolio construction are not beginner topics, and the sessions are pitched at people who already understand basic trading terminology. A complete beginner will not be lost, but will have to work harder than an experienced trader to keep up.

Is it useful for experienced traders?

Is it useful for experienced traders?

The parts most likely to add something for an experienced trader are the risk and portfolio pillar and the options structuring work, because those are the areas retail traders most often skip. If you already run a macro framework and size positions deliberately, the marginal value is lower and comes mostly from mentor access and having ideas challenged rather than from fresh material.

Does it cover options?

Does it cover options?

Yes. Equity options are one of the four pillars. The published scope covers interpreting options pricing, structuring trades to match a market view, and managing positions on a risk-first framework.

Does it cover macro analysis?

Does it cover macro analysis?

Yes. Macro is the first pillar. The published scope covers a top-down view of the US, Europe and China, leading, coincident and lagging indicators, and identifying sector outperformance over a three to four month horizon.

Does it provide trade signals?

Does it provide trade signals?

No. 4 Pillar Trading states that it offers no upsells and no signal service. If you are looking for a buy and sell alert feed, this is the wrong product.

Are the sessions live?

Are the sessions live?

Yes. 4 Pillar Trading publishes 20 mentor-led live sessions per cycle.

Are sessions recorded?

Are sessions recorded?

Yes. Members get access to recordings, so a missed live session is not a lost session.

Can members ask questions?

Can members ask questions?

The members-only community is published as including trade-idea review, post-trade analysis and peer feedback, which implies direct question and answer. We have not yet verified the exact format, or how questions are handled during live sessions.

How much time does it require?

How much time does it require?

4 Pillar Trading does not publish a required weekly time commitment, and we will not invent one. What we can say is that a programme built on live sessions plus community participation rewards attendance, and that the members who get least from this kind of product are the ones who never turn up.

How much does it cost?

How much does it cost?

4 Pillar Trading has two tiers. Foundation, the public entry, is US$199 a month or US$1,910 a year with a 14-day US$19 trial. Established, which adds the monthly market education, idea sessions, emergency sessions and advanced channels, is US$299 a month or US$2,990 a year, and on the public route has to be earned. Through the founding offer page this site links to, Established is sold directly: US$19 for 30 days, then US$269.10 a month, or US$2,392.03 for the first year on annual and US$2,691 a year after that.

Is there a trial?

Is there a trial?

Yes. On 4 Pillar Trading's own site, US$19 buys 14 days of Foundation. Through the founding offer page this site links to, US$19 buys 30 days of Established, the higher tier, with cancellation before Day 31. Note the charge date before you close the checkout tab.

Can members cancel?

Can members cancel?

Yes. 4 Pillar Trading publishes one-click cancellation via Stripe. We have not independently tested the flow.

Does it guarantee trading results?

Does it guarantee trading results?

No, and it does not claim to. 4 Pillar Trading states that its content is educational only and that nothing it provides is financial advice. No guarantee appears on its page. Nor would one be credible if it did: trading involves substantial risk and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Does this website receive an affiliate commission?

Does this website receive an affiliate commission?

Yes. The 4 Pillar Trader is independently operated and is not the official website of 4 Pillar Trading, but we may receive a commission if you join through one of our links, at no additional cost to you. That is why every claim on this site carries a status label, and why we leave items marked as awaiting confirmation instead of filling the gaps with something that merely reads well.

Does this site cover 4 Pillar Funding, 4 Pillars or 4proptrader?

Does this site cover 4 Pillar Funding, 4 Pillars or 4proptrader?

No. Those are unrelated businesses with similar names. This site covers only 4 Pillar Trading at 4pillartrading.com.
